Periphery to join Dance Gavin Dance for North American tour

Periphery will join Dance Gavin Dance for a 15-date North American tour kicking off March 31 at The Regency in San Francisco.

The outing will mark Periphery’s first tour dates for 2019 and comes as the band recently wrapped up recording its as-of-yet untitled sixth album. are Don Broco, Hail the Sun and Covet will join Periphery and Dance Gavin Dance on the tour.

“It’s been amazing to have such ample time off to write and record what we think is our favorite record to date, but after more than a year without touring we’re all extremely excited to get back out there,” Periphery drummer Matt Halpern said. “We’re very excited to play in some our favorite cities, we’re stoked to be able to play in front of our fans again, and it’s always awesome to perform and tour alongside some of our favorite bands and friends, which is exactly what we get to do on this tour!”

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale at 10 a.m. local time Friday, Jan. 11.

Periphery released “Periphery III: Select Difficulty” in Summer 2016. The 11-track release earned the band its first Grammy nomination, with a nod in the “Best Metal Performance” for the album opener “The Price is Wrong.” Periphery is Jake Bowen, Matt Halpern, Mark Holcomb, Misha Mansoor and Spencer Sotelo.
